Gonçalo Costa is a doctoral student in Knowledge Management and Ethics, through the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility programme, De Montfort University, with supervision of Professor Mary Prior and Professor Simon Rogerson. He is a lecturer, a member of ILID Research Group, a journals reviewer (Information, Communication and Ethics in Society, Ethics and Information Technology, IPSI Transactions and Energy) and it has been recently nominated Chief Editor (Journal of Sociology of Science & Technology). These roles acknowledge his academic background (BEc, Master in E-Business and IT, MBA in Management), as well as professional (Key Account Manager in Finance and ICT). His research interests are ICT major applications and ethics, as his published work in journals, books, and conferences denotes.

Reginaldo de Almeida academic background includes a PhD in Information Science at Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). He is a lecturer and board member in Autónoma University of Lisbon (Portugal), as well as an invited lecturer at Pontificia University of Salamanca (Spain). In 2012, he was awarded with the Seed of Science Award due to his work as presenter of Falar Global (a TV program that divulges ICT appliances and evolution) in SIC News- a national TV station. Research interests cover information science applications and issues, as his publications denote (Sociedade Bit, da sociedade da informação à sociedade do conhecimento and Voo da borboleta- Crónicas da sociedade da informação- both in Portuguese).

Arlindo Alegre Donário is a lecturer, board member and President of the Centre of Economic Analysis and Social Regulation at Autónoma University of Lisbon (Portugal). Arlindo was a former assessor for the Ministry of Education and Prime Minister Social Policy. Presently, his current research area is the economic and social impacts of public regulation, as its publications in books (e.g. Análise económica da regulação social- As causas, consequências e políticas dos acidentes de viação- 2012, Economia- 2011, Aumento das sanções ou da probabilidade de aplicação da lei?- 2010, Modelo IS-LM determinação do rendimento, taxa de juros e moeda- 2010- all in Portuguese) and conferences (e.g. Seminar at Instituto Nacional de Administração Pública- 2010- in Portuguese) acknowledge.

Ricardo Borges Santos is a lecturer, an executive board advisor and a researcher member for the Centre of Economic Analysis of Social Regulation at Autónoma University of Lisbon (Portugal). Currently, his research area is public regulation (economic analysis) which his publications in books (e.g. Análise económica da regulação social- As causas, consequências e políticas dos acidentes de viação- 2012, Análise da evolução da procura do ensino superior público e privado, em especial na região de Lisboa- 2009)- all in Portuguese and with Arlindo Alegre Donário) and conferences (e.g. Youth, gender & road risk Conference) denote.
